Chris Laney Recognized for Outstanding Commitment to Community

January 11th, 2013 (Sarasota, Fl)—The Sarasota Young Professionals Group (YPG) recognized outstanding members this week of its organization including our own Communications Director Chris Laney. Laney was honored for his demonstration and commitment to the Sarasota community through philanthropic and civic engagements. YPG named 25 individuals as part of their Leadership Circle out of the 400+ YPG members currently active. YPG rewards the recipients with free and or discounted events and activities in the region and free professional development classes taught by professors from area colleges and universities.

Laney also serves on the Board of Directors for YPG as Technology Chair. As Technology Chair, Laney oversees technology initiatives by developing strategies, plans and best practices for the use of technology.
