Two Treasures 3D Tour

Digital Frontiers Media (DFM) and Miles Media launched an interactive marketing piece for the St. Petersburg & Clearwater Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. Using Augmented Reality technology, the piece, titled “Two Treasures 3D Tour,” features a virtual guide who gives potential tourists an interactive overview of “must-see” destinations.

Due to the complexity of their extensive design process and some of their web development offerings, ROBRADY looked to Digital Frontiers Media to provide them internet application solutions and systems & product programming support for some of their clients.

Wilks QC, Inc. is an infrared technology based company aiming to benefit the beverage industry beginning with the quality lab. In developing their prototype beverage quality control checker, they approached Digital Frontiers Media with a tight deadline to produce working software that would provide real-time lab precision data with live test samples for an upcoming demo at a trade show. "Beyond Apollo" Lander Game

This is an action game in the spirit of the early lunar lander type video arcade game. Keyboard arrow keys are used to fire rockets to steer the vehicle and control its descent while attempting to land on designated landing pads without crashing. There is also a limited amount of oxygen and fuel available for each ship per level. It incorporates realistic gravity and momentum simulation. Gravity increases with each level successfully completed. Alternate terrains are loaded after successfully completing the first level. Produced with Flash, 2006.

Apollo Beyond Interactive Exhibit

This was an interactive environment offering puzzles to be solved using a Tangible User Interface (TUI, or Surface Computer) and Augmented Reality (AR) technology. Physical objects representing Ages and Elements tell stories when drawn near each other--each story leaving clues to aid in the solving of puzzles. Puzzles in Augmented Reality are solved by interacting with both real and virtual objects interweaved together through the use of a "magic window" visualization tool called The Oracle. 2006.
